Trust & safety

Book an independent cleaner with confidence.

Quicksi is a marketplace: each clean is an agreement between you and an independent, verified cleaner. Quicksi handles everything around it — the checks, the payment and the help if something goes wrong.

How every booking is protected

  • Your payment is held, not taken

When you book, the amount is reserved on your card, not charged. It's taken only after the job is marked complete — when you confirm it, or automatically 24 hours later if you haven't reported a problem.

  • Cleaners are verified before their first offer

Every cleaner shows photo ID, a current National Police Check and a valid ABN, and Quicksi reviews their application before they can see a single job. Badges on each profile show what was checked.

  • Reviews from real bookings only

Only a customer who completed a booking can review that cleaner. No imported ratings, and no reviews from people who never booked.

  • Help when something isn't right

Report a problem in the app within 24 hours of the job being marked complete. The payment stays on hold while Quicksi looks at the booking, the check-in record, photos and the messages from both sides.

If something isn’t right

Most bookings never need it. When one does, this is what happens.

  1. 1

    You report it

Within 24 hours of the job being marked complete, from the booking in the app — say what was missed or went wrong.

  2. 2

    The payment stays on hold

Nothing is released to the cleaner while the report is open.

  3. 3

    Both sides are heard

Quicksi reviews the booking scope, the check-in record, photos and the messages exchanged on the platform.

  4. 4

A decision, usually within 3–5 business days

The outcome can be a return visit by the same cleaner at no extra cost (if you both agree), a partial or full refund, or no change if the job was delivered as booked.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with and can take 3–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply. The full rules are in the Terms.

Independent cleaners, clear expectations

  • Cleaners run their own business

Each cleaner is an independent professional who chooses their services, area, hours and the jobs they accept. Quicksi doesn't employ cleaners or direct how they work.

  • Equipment and products are the cleaner's

Cleaners choose and bring their own equipment and products. If you need something specific — or want your own products used — say so in the booking notes or the chat.

  • Keep it on Quicksi

Book, pay and message through the app. That record is what lets Quicksi review a problem — payments or arrangements made outside the platform aren't covered.

Before your clean

A few habits that make every booking go smoothly.

  • Check the cleaner's profile, badges and reviews before the day.
  • Use the in-app chat for access details and requests, so there's a record.
  • Put away valuables and anything fragile you'd rather not have cleaned.
  • Report anything that worries you — safety concerns go straight to the support team.

Frequently asked questions

Are the cleaners on Quicksi employees?

No. Every cleaner is an independent professional running their own business — they choose their services, area, hours and the jobs they accept. Quicksi is the marketplace that connects you, handles the payment and steps in if something goes wrong.

What checks does a cleaner pass before their first job?

Photo ID, a current National Police Check (issued within the 6 months before it's uploaded, and renewed every year), a valid ABN, and a review of their application by Quicksi — all before they can see a single job. Badges on their profile show what was checked.

When is my card charged?

When you book, the amount is only held on your card. It's charged after the job is marked complete — when you confirm it, or automatically 24 hours later if you haven't reported a problem.

What happens if I'm not happy with a clean?

Report it from the booking within 24 hours of the job being marked complete. The payment stays on hold while Quicksi reviews the booking, the check-in record, photos and messages — usually within 3–5 business days. The outcome can be a return visit by the same cleaner (if you both agree), a partial or full refund, or no change if the job was delivered as booked.

Who brings the cleaning equipment and products?

The cleaner. Cleaners choose and bring their own equipment and products. If you need something specific, or want your own products used, say so in the booking notes or the chat.

Can I message my cleaner, and what if a message is inappropriate?

Yes — each booking has its own chat in the app, so there's a record of what was agreed. If anything in a conversation or a review is offensive, report it from the app and Quicksi's team will look at it.
