Star ratings at Quicksi

Last updated: 12 October 2026

How your star rating works

After every completed booking, the customer is invited to leave a rating between 1 and 5 stars, plus an optional written comment. Your overall star rating is the rolling average of every review you have ever received on Quicksi — not just recent ones.

Ratings are calculated and stored automatically the moment a customer submits their review. Your average and total review count are visible on your public cleaner profile.

Example: If you have completed 10 jobs and received ratings of 5, 5, 4, 5, 5, 4, 5, 5, 5, and 4, your average is 4.7 stars across 10 reviews.

Ratings are only collected for bookings that reach Completed status. Cancelled bookings cannot be rated.

What customers see

When a customer views your profile or is matched to your job, they can see:

  • Your overall star average (e.g. ★ 4.8)
  • The total number of reviews you have received
  • Individual reviews from past customers, newest first
  • The written comment a customer left (if any)

Written comments that violate Quicksi's community guidelines — for example, those that contain personal attacks or offensive language — can be reported to our team for review. See Review visibility.

What affects your rating

While customers give a single overall star rating, the main things that lead to lower ratings are:

Punctuality
Arriving significantly later than agreed, without warning, is one of the most common causes of a low rating. Tap "On my way" in the app and message the customer if you're running behind.
Cleanliness quality
Missing areas, not following the customer's specific requests, or leaving the property in a worse state than expected.
Communication
Customers value cleaners who are responsive in the in-app chat — especially if something unexpected comes up during the job.
Professionalism
Arriving unprepared (missing supplies or equipment), or behaviour that made the customer feel uncomfortable.
Not completing the job
Marking a job as complete before the agreed scope is finished. The customer can dispute a completion — if they do, the booking is escalated to support.

How to improve your rating

Your rating rises as you complete more highly-rated jobs. There is no shortcut — each new review contributes equally to your average, regardless of your past history.

Here are the habits that correlate most strongly with 5-star jobs:

  • Confirm the scope before you start. Read the customer's booking notes carefully. If anything is unclear, message them through the app before the day.
  • Tap "On my way" when you leave. Customers who know you're on your way are significantly less likely to give a low punctuality rating, even if you're a few minutes late.
  • Bring everything you need. Your own equipment and supplies, unless the booking says the customer is providing them.
  • Check in at the end. Before you mark the job complete, do a walk-through of the agreed areas and message the customer to let them know you're done. It signals care and gives them a chance to raise anything minor before submitting a rating.
  • Raise issues early, not after. If the property is in worse condition than expected — more bedrooms, extra mess — use the on-site adjustment feature rather than rushing through or leaving unhappy. A price adjustment accepted in good faith leads to a much better outcome than a dispute after the job.
Never ask a customer to change or remove a review. Attempting to influence a review off-platform (e.g. by offering a discount or applying pressure) is a violation of Quicksi's Terms and may result in account suspension.

Rating and matching priority

When a booking is made and a customer's payment is authorised, Quicksi automatically matches the job to a cleaner in the relevant service area. Star rating is one of the factors used in that matching process.

Distance comes first; among cleaners at a similar distance, a higher rating means you are generally offered a job sooner. A strong rating means:

  • More job offers in your service area
  • Greater customer confidence when they view your profile
New cleaners on Quicksi have no rating yet. You'll start being matched to jobs immediately after approval. Your first few reviews will establish your baseline — treat every early job as your most important one.

Review visibility

All reviews are visible on your public profile by default, unless they have been hidden by Quicksi's moderation team following a report.

If you believe a review contains false information, is abusive, or violates Quicksi's community guidelines, you can report it by contacting our support team at support@quicksi.com.au with the booking reference and a brief explanation. We investigate all reports and will notify you of the outcome.

Quicksi does not remove reviews simply because you disagree with the rating. We only hide a review if it violates our guidelines or if evidence shows it was submitted fraudulently.
